- We enter situations in which hunger, violence, and hopelessness are present and facilitate life-change through education, empowerment, and practical need-meeting.
- We advocate for at-risk children and teens & defend biblical justice.
- We alleviate suffering for families in abject poverty through our food outreaches and daily nutrition program.
- We provide spiritual care by sharing the message of hope found in Jesus Christ.
THROUGH PRAYER!
- CHILDREN AT-RISK: Please pray for the at-risk children and teens in our care. We serve over 210 kids who live in abject poverty and marginalized neighborhoods. Pray for their health and safety, as well as for their nutritional, emotional and spiritual needs.
- STOLEN CHILDREN: Please be bold in prayer for the children of Honduras who are victims of human trafficking. We have lost over ten percent of our Casa de Luz children to the crime of human trafficking.
- LEADERS SERVING IN DIFFICULT PLACES: Please pray for the ten Honduran leaders who serve full-time in Casa de Luz. Please also pray for our full-time missionaries, Ed and Valerie Schubert.

The mission of Foundation Casa de Luz is to provide quality child care and academic enrichment to at-risk children while meeting practical, emotional and spiritual needs of each child, their families and their communities.
The vision of Foundation Casa de Luz is to launch and sustain Educational Centers and Community Outreach Centers throughout the nation of Honduras. Our centers will be safe havens for at-risk children and their family members and will be staffed by safe, well-trained leaders who understand the complex needs of families living in abject poverty. This will allow us to leverage our experience and extend our current footprint enabling us to empower, equip and educate thousands of Honduran children, their families and their respective communities.
