Mission

“The mission of Foundation Casa de Luz is to transform the lives of children and illuminate the path for Honduran families.” 

  • We will provide quality childcare and academic enrichment to at-risk children and teens while meeting the educational, nutritional, relational, emotional, and spiritual needs of each child or teen.

  • We will engage families and communities through evangelism, discipleship, and mentorships.  

  • We will offer Christian psychological services to minister to the emotional and mental health needs of those in our sphere of influence.  

  • We will provide relational, nutritional, and spiritual nourishment to at-risk elderly members of our communities.

  • We will train and equip parents so that they can raise their children in a loving, safe, stable home environment. 

  • We will alleviate suffering through meeting practical needs such as providing dignified housing, food, and education to those in need.

Vision

The vision of Foundation Casa de Luz is to launch and sustain Christian Educational Centers and Community Outreach Centers throughout the nation of Honduras. Our centers will be safe havens for at-risk children and their family members and will be staffed by safe, well-trained leaders who understand the complex needs of families living in abject poverty.

We will attend to the spiritual, emotional, relational, nutritional, and educational needs of children, teens, families, and elderly members of the community. This will allow us to leverage our experience and extend our current footprint enabling us to empower, equip and educate thousands of Honduran children, families and communities.
